I failed to post these screencaps from the trailer the other day pertaining to my posts on the ABZ 3293 site and the Slusho website.This is the car from the trailer, with the same license plate that this website is asking about. The other is a Slusho t-shirt one of the party-goers (the one who asks about seeing what's going on from the roof) is wearing.

So, I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this but if you check out January 18 on wikipedia it lists a whole bunch of important (and unimportant) things that happened on that day through out history. A few of them have to do with meteorite landings and the such. A lot of them have to do with deaths from natural disasters. Maybe that has something to do with why the date was picked... along with the bible verse.
I know this will be a second comment, BUT, in looking for a connection between the Ethan Haas ARG and Cloverfeild I found that the first post on the "The Truth of Ethan Haas" blog was posted on July 4th. The date that Transformers was supposed to debut. Maybe this is a connection, maybe not.
